The
following directors were present: Ron Cooper, Ed Enders, Martha
Shields, James Call and Mike Zimmerman.
A
quorum was established and the Board president, Martha Shields called
the meeting to order at the hour of 5:55 p.m.
The
Minutes of the April 5, 2007 Board of Directors Meeting were
distributed and reviewed. Mike Zimmerman moved to approve the
minutes. Ed Enders 2nd the motion. The motion was
approved.
New Business:
- Reports
of contractors working inside unit #700 are leaving a trail of debris
and dust in halls and elevator. James Call moved to assess the owners
of unit #700 two hours of clean-up fee at the standard hourly rate
from the Associations janitorial crew. Mike Zimmerman 2nd
the motion.

Earl
Carson gets a big “Thank-You” from the Board of
Directors for sweeping the parking lot this past month.

Martha
Shields would like a reminder placed in the next newsletter throwing
trash out windows is prohibited. Especially those facing the
carport.

James
Call suggested that the mailboxes get cleaned. The Managing Agent
will email the new mailbox catalog information to the Board.

Diane
Bachman suggested updating the first floor lobby with furnishings.
The Board asked Diane to draft a formal proposal for review.
Old
Business:
The
Managing Agent was asked to check the status of the Wicker Roofing
project completion and the AWWU letter requesting delay of water
line repairs.
Ed
Enders reported that there are no new dumpster available and the
lighter dumpsters are costly.
Ron
Cooper reported the fire hoses are disconnected and should be
scheduled for removal. Ron will remove the hoses at no cost if the
hoses are placed under his possession for disposal. The Board
unanimously agrees to approve his request.
The
Managing Agent suggested mastering all access doors to one key. Ed
Enders will assist in coordinating this project.
Mike
Zimmerman request a call back from Bruce Roberts Maintenance on his
window issue.
Several
trees are encroaching on the parking spaces from the NW corner of
the parking lot (green house). The Board would like this homeowner
notified to trim the tree.
The
north side parking lot fence needs some shoveling and weed control
along the footings
The
May 2007 financial reports, reserve analysis and current receivable
reports were disrupted and reviewed. Diane Bachman requested a call
back from our accounting department regarding her account. The Board
request a transfer of $10,000.00 to savings account from the checking
account and to flag all CD accounts for mature dates to consider a
new higher interest CD’s.
Being
no further business to come before the Board to discuss, the meeting
was adjourned at the hour of 7:17 PM.
